There are parts that are hysterically funny, and other parts that are absolutely appalling. The right-wing neo-cons want nothing more or less than the utter destruction of our democracy. They want a theocracy, do not doubt this for a moment.

It's scary when it finally sinks in. Most people go directly into denial. I have been watching this creeping crud of religio-political insanity since the early 90s. And I can look back and know that it was going on even before then.
