Swine Flu being used to Cover Up something?

Isn't it odd that all of a sudden we have the press attempting to spread panic over a flu that isn't a pandemic, and probably won't become one, by trying to say it might. There was absolutely nothing in the news about this flu before yesterday morning. A pandemic by definition is a virus that spreads quickly from person to person. The people who came down with it in the United States were sick two to six weeks ago. Two of the high school students who were sick in the United States have returned to school. If it were a pandemic, at least half the high school would have been sick. It would have spread all over the country by now, and we'd be closing everything up in an attempt to contain it. I live less than a hundred miles from the Mexico border, and I don't know anyone who is sick here or has been sick in the last two months. If we ever do have a pandemic, we'll see illness before we see news about it.

Indeed, a doctor at a hospital in Mexico City hasn't even seen a case of it.
"Outside Hospital Obregon in the capital's middle-class Roma district, a tired Dr. Roberto Ortiz, 59, leaned against an ambulance and sipped coffee Saturday on a break from an unusually busy shift.

"The people are scared," Ortiz said. "A person gets some flu symptoms or a child gets a fever and they think it is this swine flu and rush to the hospital."

He said none of the cases so far at the hospital had turned out to be swine flu."

Twenty people as of this morning (they're saying maybe 62 now) dying in Mexico, a third world country of the flu is no surprise. I mean how many people die in Mexico of the flu in any given year? Something is going on, something is happening, and someone doesn't want us to notice, they want it buried by this swine flu panic. Could it be the torture news about Cheney? Or something else? Is Mexico involved in something with us?

Cheney gathering documents?

Or new torture photos?

Or is it something else we don't know about yet? Or is it merely a coincidence?

  1. That's about all they've had on CNN all day is the Swine Flu stuff. Just doing their part to take the people's minds off the torture talk...doing their best to protect the Bush/Cheney crew of war criminals.

  2. Conspiracy phases:

Phase 1: Recognize some kind of conspiracy atmosphere --- check.

Phase 2: Link it to some sort of nepharious activities --- no check ... just vague speculation and asking around for something to complain about ...

Phase 3: Get some much needed attention! --- no check (darn illuminati ...)

  3. Well anonymous, I'm usually not one for conspiracy theories. I like critical thinking and being skeptical about things. It is my skepticism that brought me to this idea. Because, one must wonder about strange coincidences. Like a doctor in Mexico City, not having seen a single case of this so-called possible pandemic... that struck me as really strange. A pandemic with no victims. So I thought, there's something very odd about all this.

I might be wrong. It might be nothing. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it were being used to cover something up.

BTW, why don't you sign in next time you post instead of hiding behind anonymous. I don't bite.

  4. Yes, this pandemic has even surprised the CDC, who didn't see it coming (or, perhaps, they didn't get the memo) but not me. The US has been looking to develop and weaponize virus such as the Spanish Flu (or Anthrax, which was mailed to left leaning members of Congress following 9/11. Hmmm) for some time. Maybe this strain, which contains parts of the Avian Flu virus as well as swine Flu, is just a sample lying around they needed to test, what better time than when the corpocracy needs a distraction from the consequences of it's nefarious actions?

  5. Remember a few years ago when avian flu was the big scare? That was right after Katrina and just before the wiretapping story broke. Definitely a coincidence.

  6. I don't know if I buy that it's fishy on this side of the border...in Mexico, though, with the ongoing fighting with the cartels, it does seem like an awfully convenient excuse for martial law....

(Yeah, I know it goes against the rules of conspiracy theories to come up with one that doesn't point to the CIA...)

  7. LOLz. I don't know what's up, but it seems so crazy that the press has people panicking about a couple dozen confirmed deaths in Mexico (all the rest are unconfirmed), and 20 confirmed cases here in the states, all with mild symptoms and no deaths. Now, if thousands were ill and hundreds had died, then I might think the press had a point in getting people into a frenzy. But this, it doesn't make any sense to my rational mind.

Maybe they want panic so they can close the border and the Mexican government can go in and fight the cartels, and say they all died of Swine Flu >.<
